About Us: The GHP Response
Local and Lasting Change
Global Health Partners provides technical assistance to Mexican and Central American healthcare providers to effect meaningful and permanent improvements in their healthcare systems.
We partner with local hospitals, non-governmental organizations, and health ministries to develop projects to address critical medical needs and improve care for the greatest number of mothers and children in the most cost-effective manner.
GHP staff and volunteer healthcare professionals:
- Partner with local entities to identify specific medical needs;
- Perform surgery in Central American countries;
- Train local doctors in surgical skills and technological advancements;
- Train rehabilitation specialists to support people with developmental disabilities;
- Facilitate donations of medicine & medical supplies; and
- Educate healthcare workers and patients' families to meet community and patient healthcare needs.

They are uniquely qualified to train Latin American healthcare providers in techniques to manage medical conditions that are life-threatening or prevent women, children and their families from leading productive, self-sufficient lives.
